What becomes possible when your Xero data is copied into a warehouse through the full Xero API: bridges, margin by customer, ageing, days to pay, budget against actual, projects and assets. Use the slicers; every card tells you which ones it respects.
Bars are income, the line is net profit, the dashed line is budgeted income. The selected period is highlighted.
Tile area is income. Blue is above the average margin of the tiles shown, red is below. Select a tile to filter the whole page to that customer; select it again to clear.
One bubble per customer and item. Bubble area is income; both axes are logarithmic.
Each cell is income for that customer and item in the selected period. Darker is more.
Closing cash by month. The forecast adds the average net cash flow of the last three months, as the recurring invoice and bill templates would, with a widening range.
The bar is actual, the tick is budget, the grey bands run to 80%, 100% and 120% of budget. Orange means it landed on the wrong side of budget.
Tile area is cost. Colour is the account; the tiles inside are suppliers.
Wages divided by total income, by month, for the selected regions. The selected period is highlighted.
Each line is a region. A line that falls means payroll took a smaller share of that region's income by September.
Each project is a line from time cost to amount billed. A longer line is more margin.
Straight-line depreciation, month-end book value by asset.
Select a column heading to sort. Book value is at the end of the selected month, or at the end of September for FYTD.
A star schema: nine fact tables around shared dimensions. Each fact is fed by the Xero API endpoint named in the table. The data here is synthetic and generated from a fixed seed.
These are illustrative figures. They were generated to add up to the real September 2026 totals from Xero's Demo Company (UK): income £17,697.71, net profit £6,752.45, receivables £20,441.38, payables £9,079.59 and cash £5,274.30. Everything else is invented. The cash bridge adds drawings and tax as a modelled outflow and a small VAT and timing line so cash ties to the bank.
Claude's Xero connector cannot reach most of this. Payments, budgets, items, bank transactions, tracking categories, payroll, projects and assets need data copied out through the Xero API. The explainer page lists what the connector can and cannot read.
Xero API tiers. The Starter tier is free for up to five connections and Core covers up to fifty. The full general ledger (Journals) sits behind the Advanced tier, so for most clients we rebuild it from reports, documents and bank transactions. We are still confirming that every endpoint is open on Starter and Core, and that Payroll, Projects and Assets access can be granted.

Sample data. Net profit and the bridge ignore Customer and Item because costs are not split by customer. Profit figures exclude VAT; cash figures include it. Built by FactSmith; the generator is reproducible from the repository.
